    Fox and NFL’s Afghanistan Sunday: Is it a Political Statement or Just Plain Stupid?

    After a month of spending my free time watching baseball and then having the Phillies blow it with two games left, the last thing I want to pontificate on is sports. In fact, I want sports just to go away for awhile. But as the crisis rose in my mind by the constant bombardment of Fox’s advertising “the Sunday NFL Pregame Show in Afghanistan”, there is no way this incident, whether for patriotism or publicity, should go without a Lunchbreak conversation.
