    March Madness

    As the brackets are haphazardly filled in and the country turns a blind eye to the illicit behavior of gambling for the sake of workplace solidarity, I find myself thinking about the meaning of this year's tournament in relation to our current list of national woes. The misconceived joy and appeal of the tournament has always been the majesty of the "UPSET!" This desire is merely a spawning from the ideal of HOPE or the belief that ANYTHING is possible.
