shoeshine In the closing of the last entry I described Zion as imposing, and upon further reflection, I feel this is a poor choice of words. Yellowstone was imposing due the sheer size of it. Zion isn’t nearly as large, but it is still quite grand. However, the more appropriate description for the cliffs of Zion is intimidating.
It’s 11:30 on a Friday night in Atlanta, Georgia and I’m about to take the first sip of my crisp 22 oz. beer and bite of my first hot wing. I’m with one of my best friends from college and we just sat down at the bar after watching the Phillies beat the Braves at Turner field, 3-2. Oh, by the way, I’m at a Hooters. I’m on vacation, and life is good!
