The Table: Julian Assange Trouble, Bad Winter Ahead, Harsh and Costly School Lesson

mrfeekInternational

Can Julian Assange hide forever? Ecuador is trying to make it possible as the Latin American country takes on the big boys of Europe. But the Wikileaks’ founder fears the United States more than anything. Julian Assange and Ecuador believe that the United States wants to put him to death for releasing top-secret documents about its political maneuvers and power. Ecuador’s embassy in London has been keeping Assange safe while the British officials finalize plans to send him to Sweden for rape charges. British officials said they will raid the Ecuador embassy; a move that is not very diplomatic.

Do you think embassies should be political free zones?

It has been one hot summer and do not get me started with the bugs. But the weather pattern has changed for the weekend and you can almost smell the fall on the horizon. But are you ready for some snow? Big Snow forecast is coming east. The predictions are in and la Nina is turning into el Nino and that means lots of shoveling and loss production at work. You have some time to prepare. Nothing is expected until January and February, but I really don’t mind thoughts of drifting snow and ski slopes right now.

What is your favorite part of winter?

Camden students win lawsuit after being forced to eat off the floor. This is another educational embarrassment for a city filled with them. Calling the vice-principal racist, Hispanic students won over the Camden Board of Education that forked over ½ million dollars in “I’m sorry” money. The elementary students were forced to eat off the floor with paper liners for two weeks as the student body laughed and mocked them. Their teacher Jose Rivera was actually fired by the school for telling the students to notify their parents about the punishment. Rivera won a settlement also. The vice-principal is working at a different school. And best of all, the lawyer walked away with $220,000 of the $500,000.

What was the worst punishment you received for wrongdoing at school?

That site is hilarious. Stay calm and start digging towards Ecuador was my favorite, but I would go with the ninja. He has to be sick of English food by now. He just might surrender. Thanks for the comment and site.
