Life As a Student (Robot)

Some rights reserved by bjornmeansbearWe are robots.
We memorize words with no meaning.
We speak in only terms
While they teach in tongues
And we recite in monotone.

When to put our education to use?
When to test our abilities
If not on paper?
A student is a computer
And a wrong answer's just a glitch.

I'm 14 and have only been published (not including the internet,) once. Obviously, being 14, I spend a lot of time in school. The post above is what I do in school.

I am glad youth is still questioning their education. It is all practical. You have all day and the rest of your life to use it; a good teacher will never show you when or how, only what. The rest is yours to do what you want with it -- even ignore it. But a poet is to question and I am glad you are on your way. Keep writing.
