Meeting Spring
incantation
who longs to express
your dress, your hair
filled with blossoms,
so purple against the bland,
healing the winter scars.
Spring
bringing
piercing songs,
crackling waters
bathing in wind
and warmth.
Spring
blue heaven
without threat
while
white clouds
glide off to greet
people I’ll never meet.
Spring
captive, your prey,
devour my day,
separate for now,
for passing my spring
is limited
and so for the world
where you cast light
to reign in
autumn and winters to come.
