All right, time to put my left wing on. I Read through the “Fox and NFL’s Afghanistan Sunday” post a few times, and it still bewilders that no mention was made of the irony of accusing Fox Sports of in some way harboring a pro-Obama agenda. I like the concept of Murdoch trying to play both sides- far right wing Fox News vs. leftist Fox Sports- but it seems unlikely for a real story to develop. A Fox divided against itself can not stand, and having seen parts of Sunday’s broadcast, I didn’t perceive anything any more controversial than what notoriously divisive firebrands like Bob Hope, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, and Mickey Rooney have done for several decades.
