Why 2012 Is The Year Of The London Summer Party

Some rights reserved by Ewan-MOnce the reserve of large multinationals with the budgets to match, summer parties are becoming more and more accessible to smaller companies as they begin to take on the format of shared festive events. It used to be the case whereby a company with several hundred people would exclusively hire an extravagant central London venue such as the Inner Temple or Dartmouth House and pay for the food, drink and entertainment themselves. This of course was very costly. But now many companies are being invited to join in on the same party by the venues, thus spreading the expensive cost of these elements around and making it cheaper for all concerned.
There are two prime examples of this set to hit the corporate London summer parties scene this year. The aforementioned Dartmouth House will be hosting an event called ‘Director’s Choice Cocktail Party’ which is available for groups of between 60 and 150. The stunning courtyard will be taken over by partygoers and twelve luxury canapés will be served, alongside an unlimited drinks package and string trio playing live music.
Secondly the summer party package ‘Summer On The Hill’ will be arriving at The Adelaide in Primrose Hill. A gorgeous pub with a huge outdoor area, The Adelaide has promised an unbelievable barbecue that will take place after that ever-so-British summer pastime, a Pimms reception. Entertainment comes courtesy of a professional DJ and the terrace will be fully heated throughout. This event kicks off at 6pm and goes on until just after midnight, with a range of dates available.
Companies looking into the possibility of hosting a masquerade summer party 2012 in the capital are in luck, as major livery halls such as Founders and Farmers will be turning back their clocks to Renaissance-era Venice for one evening and welcoming guests for a night of luxurious dancing and entertainment.
The capital’s corporate summer party scene has never looked so healthy, or affordable. We can’t wait to step out onto the terrace and take that first sip of Pimms!

It sounds like a Gatsby party. London will be the place to be this summer. All I have to do is avoid buying return tickets on the Titanic.

Thanks for the lunch -- do I really have to go bck to work?
